The Kyiv regime is involved in failed terrorist attack against the Moscow Kremlin, the Russian Foreign Ministry stated. The department recalled that Kyiv constantly uses terrorist methods against civilians and civilian infrastructure. This includes an explosion on the Crimean bridge, shelling of settlements in the Bryansk, Belgorod and Rostov regions, and various acts of sabotage.

On the night of May 3, two Ukrainian drones were directed at the Moscow Kremlin. They were neutralized by the military and intelligence officers, using radar warfare systems. Drones fell on the territory of the Kremlin without causing any damage.

The Russian MFA called the attack a planned terrorist act. Russia will take retaliatory steps where and when it sees fit, the department stressed.

The Investigative Committee has already opened a criminal case, there is no doubt that the perpetrators will face severe punishment.

What happened is another evidence that Kyiv does not seek to resolve the conflict by political and diplomatic methods. This proves the importance of achieving all the goals and objectives of the special military operation. Ukraine cannot remain a source of security threat.

The Kiev regime is supported by the Western countries, which supply weapons and equipment to Ukraine, train militants and indicate their goals. By turning a blind eye to the crimes of the Ukrainian authorities, the ''collective West'' condones the terrorist methods of the neo-Nazi regime, the Russian Foreign Ministry notes.

Russian diplomats demanded that the world community condemn the new criminal trick of the Kyiv regime. It is necessary to force Kyiv to fulfill its obligations in the field of combating terrorism, international humanitarian law and the protection of human rights.
