A group of 50 students from Kazan Federal University, who came from African countries, arrived in Sviyazhsk, where they arranged a reading of Russian fairy tales in English, Portuguese and Arabic, Rossiyskaya Gazeta reports.

Tatarstan is actively developing relations with African countries. Earlier, an exhibition of works by 40 artists from the Russian region was held in Senegal.

At the walls of the Assumption Monastery, students arranged readings of Russian fairy tales in different languages.

An excursion around Sviyazhsk was organized for students. The head of the museum, Artyom Silkin, noted the unifying role of fairy tales, which increases mutual understanding between peoples.
