Moscow hosts International Forum of Young Translators

The International Forum of Young Translators has started in Moscow, the website of the Year of Literature. Its two-day program combines both offline and online formats. 

It is planned that the forum will become a platform for interaction between translators from Russia, the CIS and other states. It will also allow novice translators to learn more about the profession, its traditions and history. Also, the forum will be a platform for the exchange of experience, meetings with leading industry experts are planned. The All-Russian and International Communities of Young Translators will be created during the forum. 

The initiator of the forum, which is held for the 1st time, is the Board of the Union of Translators of Russia. The co-organizers are the Union of Russian Translators of India, the Gumilyov Eurasian National University from Kazakhstan, other partner universities and organizations.
