Residents of 26 states will take the TruD test this year. It takes place simultaneously with the Total Dictation for the 8th time. The test allows those who study Russian as a foreign language to join the Total Dictation, the press center of the Total Dictation reports in its Telegram channel.

80 sites will be opened in Russia, Australia, Argentina, Egypt, the USA, France, South Korea and other countries.

The test includes nine tasks prepared by specialists from the Russian as a Foreign Language project based on the text of the Total Dictation. In addition, everyone is welcome to write a piece of text under dictation as the last - 10th - task. It is evaluated separately.

According to the organizers, over the years of the campaign, interest in the test has increased significantly. In 2016, when TruD was held for the first time, only about 1,000 people wrote it. In 2022, this figure exceeded 7,000 people.

The Total Dictation educational campaign will take place on April, 8.
