International online chess tournament in Palestine devoted to 80th anniversary of Battle of Stalingrad

The 3rd International Online Chess Tournament for Juniors will bring together the children of Russian compatriots from different countries. The organizers of the competition, timed to coincide with the 80th anniversary of the Battle of Stalingrad, is the Coordinating Council of Organizations of Russian Compatriots of Palestine and the Russian House in Beirut, the website of the Regional Coordinating Council of Russian Compatriots of Africa and the Middle East reports.

The tournament will be held from January, 26 to January, 28, applications are accepted until January, 20. The winners will be revealed in two age categories, teenagers and young people born in 2004-2007 will compete in the older category. Children of Russian compatriots and citizens of their countries of residence are invited to participate.

The organizers noted that the number of participants from each country is unlimited.
