Days of Russian Cultural Heritage held in Dubai

Dubai hosted the Days of Russian Cultural Heritage in the United Arab Emirates, organized by the Russian Ministry of Culture. One of the main events of the festival was the presentation of the leading museums of Russia, the website of the Ministry of Culture reports.

The presentation took place in the iDigital Art Theatre center. General Director of the Tretyakov Gallery Zelfira Tregulova delivered a lecture on the history of the gallery, its current work and future.

The head of the Russian Museum Vladimir Gusev devoted his speech to the development of digital technologies in museum business. Yekaterina Tolstaya, head of Leo Tolstoy's Yasnaya Polyana Museum-Estate, spoke about how the museum is preparing for the author's 200th anniversary, as well as about his ties with the Middle East.

The representatives of the Moscow Kremlin Museums, the State Historical Museum, the State Hermitage and other museums in Russia took part in the festival. They talked about programs for youth, virtual tours and much more.
