Literary soiree in Slovenia dedicated to Joseph Brodsky

A literary evening in one of the educational institutions of the Slovenia was dedicated to the work of Joseph Brodsky, TASS reports. The students of the Target-Center gymnasium recited the poet's works in Russian. They also talked about the biography of the Nobel Prize winner.

Russian diplomats, representatives of the city authorities became the honored guests of the holiday. They were joined by local residents, who are interested in Russian culture, teachers and students of the gymnasium.

According to the organizers, preparations of the event took about a month. Gymnasium students who study Russian as a second or third foreign language entered the stage. To date, their number is approaching 100 people.
