A meeting with researchers of Feodor Dostoevsky's took place in Berlin. It was at the representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo, the website of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation reports. Well-known literary critics from Russia and Germany, who have been studying the work of Fyodor Dostoevsky for a long time, took part in it.

According to Pavel Fokin, head of the Moscow House of Dostoevsky, today the relevance of the writer's works cannot be denied. The writer can find answers to all eternal questions, he is sure.

The German side was represented by Natalya Blok-Nargan, a researcher of Dostoevsky's life and work, and Olga Ordinartseva, a German Russian language specialist and musician. They were joined by the head of the board of the German-Russian Institute of Culture in Dresden, Wolfgang Schelike.

A special exhibition opened on the day of the meeting. It was prepared by the Dahl Literary Museum. Museum director Dmitry Bak donated a collection of illustrations to Dostoevsky's works to the Russian House in Berlin. Pavel Fokin led an author's tour, introducing the guests to illustrations by artists of the 20th and 21st centuries and a series of portraits of the writer.

The exhibition can be visited until December, 5.
