700 foreign students took part in Summer University project

700 students from nine countries became participants in the Summer University international youth project of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia. Students from Armenia, Belarus, Syria, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and the Donbass republics were hosted by 14 Russian universities, the ministry's website reports.

The project, which lasted for two weeks in July, allowed students from countries near and far abroad to have an interesting vacation, gain new knowledge and get acquainted with Russian universities. Universities located in different regions of the country from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok joined the project.

The guests learned a lot of new things under the guidance of scientists and teachers, got acquainted with Russian culture and traditions of different regions of Russia. 25 educational programs in engineering, economics, IT, agriculture, journalism and other disciplines were prepared for the students.
