Students from 14 countries study at International Polytechnic Summer School

More than 400 students from 14 countries have joined the International Polytechnic Summer School this year, the website of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education reports. Traditionally, it is held by Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University. 

As part of the summer school, classes are held in engineering and natural sciences, information and digital technologies, civil engineering, energy, economics, Russian language and culture, as well as in many other areas. The participants have to attend webinars and complete project activities. There is also a Summer School for Young Scientists. It is planned that the school will work for two months and end in early autumn.

The university noted that the summer school always arouses great interest, and this year is no exception. Most of the students are from Chinese universities. They were joined by students from Turkey, India, Algeria, Iran, Syria and other countries.

The higlight of the educational project is a program that is being implemented jointly with the Moscow Aviation Institute. Leading experts from two universities give lectures as part of the Smart Manufacturing and Digital Future module.
