The title of the world's best tennis player will go to a Russian athlete in a few days, TASS reports. From June 13, Daniil Medvedev will take first place in the ranking of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP.)
This became possible after the loss of Alexander Zverev, representing Germany, to the Spaniard Rafael Nadal in the semifinals of the French Open Champion Roland Garros.
Now the rating is headed by Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic. In ten days, he will run out of the points he received as the winner of the Roland Garros tournament last year.
