The soiree in memory of the Russian poetess Marina Tsvetaeva in Vanves, France brought together Russian-speaking authors from France, Germany, the United States and Lithuania, as well as French admirers of Tsvetaeva's work, Russky Eyewitness reports.

Get togethers of lovers of Tsvetaeva's poetry have been held for several years in an apartment in Vanves, where the poetess lived from 1934 to 1938. This is evidenced by a memorial plaque placed on the facade of the house.

The event, which brought together creative people from different countries was dedicated to the release of the Winter Dreams Anthology of Modern Russian Poetry and Prose. The participants of the evening were told about the life of Tsvetaeva in France, about a little-known portrait of the poetess and much more.

Professor Vivien Campomar presented her collection of short stories, one of which is dedicated to the house in Varve. A song to the verses of Marina Tsvetaeva was also performed at the evening.
