Film on Palmyra demining by Russians to be screened

Foreign viewers will watch soon Once Upon a Desert by Andrei Kravchuk, TASS reports. The film plot  takes place against the backdrop of ancient Palmyra being cleared by Russian sappers.

The military drama to be screened in Japan, Germany, France and other countries. 
 
The main character goes to mine clearance and dreams of meeting a local girl, whom he had previously helped out in a difficult situation. The script for the film was written by Arif Aliyev. The film stars Alexander Robak, Ekaterina Nesterova, Pavel Chinarev and others. The premiere took place on February, 8 in Moscow.

The Russian Ministry of Defense has supported the film crew during the shooting.
