Mountain resorts Rosa Khutor, Krasnaya Polyana and Gazprom, which are located in the mountains of Sochi, have become the first in the country to receive Safe Travels international signs. The signs are assigned to tourist sites, the safety of which is guaranteed, TASS reports.

Sochi was the first in Russia to become a participant in this program; last summer, the signs were assigned to 45 hotels and seven beaches of Sochi.

At the moment, the program operates on the territory of almost 80 countries, it acquired particular importance during the coronavirus pandemic. The Safe Travels sign indicates that a particular resort or hotel provides epidemiological safety and follows the letter of the protocols of the World Travel and Tourism Council, which are consistent with the requirements of Rospotrebnadzor.
