A large-scale presentation of the Russian Sputnik V vaccine has taken place within the framework of the "Combatting the Pandemic" international medical conference in Palermo, Italy, TASS reports.

The representative of the Sputnik V vaccine developer Daria Egorova introduced the results of the studies on the effectiveness of the Russian drug in Russia, Argentina, San Marino and other countries to the largest European specialists studying COVID-19.

Yegorova's report caused great interest among the experts, who said that there is little reliable information about the Russian vaccine.
