Days of Russian Spiritual Culture start in Greece

The Days of Russian Spiritual Culture open on Monday, December 13, in Athens, TASS reports. The festival is included in the program of the Cross year of the history of Russia and Greece.

The festival begins with the presentation of the "Russia and Greece - Pages of Joint History" exhibition. The exposition is located in the building of the Greek Foreign Ministry. Representatives of ministries and departments of both countries are invited to the opening ceremony.
 
A round table discussion will be dedicated to the participation of Russia in the struggle of the Greek people for independence. 

Another exhibition opens at the Epigraphic Museum. It is dedicated to Phanagoria - the largest ancient Greek city on the Taman peninsula, situated in the Krasnodar region of Russia. 

Fyodor Dostoevsky's 200th anniversary will also be celebrated during the festival: an exhibition and a round table dicussion will be dedicated to this date.
 
Young performers of the St. Petersburg House of Music are going to take the stage during the festival.
