Results of calligraphy competition summed up in Beijing

On November 3, 2021, the results of the calligraphy competition in Russian were announced at the Russian Center of the Beijing Foreign Studies University.

The competition was organized by the University's Russian Center and the Russian Language Institute and took place from October 27 to November 1. Alexander Pushkin's poem "To the Sea" was used for the contest. The jury selected 12 best works.

The head of the Russian Center, Professor Dai Guiju, awarded the winners of the competition with certificates and prizes. She spoke about the history of Russian writing and its development. The professor stressed that students need to learn how to write well in Russian, even though it is not easy.
