Putin declares non-working days from October 30 - November 7

Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a decree introducing non-working days in the country from October 30 to November 7 to prevent the spread of the coronavirus pandemic, TASS reports.

October 30 through November 7 will be paid non-working days. The regional authorities cam choose to declare other non-working days starting from October 23, the president added. 

It became known earlier that new restrictions were introduced in Moscow due to the increase in number of COVID-19 cases. According to Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, up to 42,000 new cases are detected every week, the number of severe cases of the disease is also increasing.
