Russian Book Day held in Paris

The Day of Russian Books took place in Paris, the website of the Coordinating Council of Russian Compatriots in France writes. The event is traditionally held in the city hall of the 5th arrondissement. The organizer is the France - Ural association.

This year, the Day of Russian Books was dedicated to the 200th anniversary of renowned Russian writer Fyodor Dostoevsky. The Twenty Six Days from the Life of Dostoyevsky drama by Alexander Zarkhi was screened during the event. 
 
The newly opened Center of the Russian Geographical Society in France took part in the event. It presented to the guests the collection of the Russian Geographical Society, including photo albums, ''The Atlas to Captain Krusenstern's Voyage Round the World'', "The Discovery of Antarctica" and much more.
