Two Russian universities entered top 100 of THE ranking in physical sciences

The Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT) and the Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU) are included in the top 100 universities in the world in physical sciences by the international ranking of the British magazine Times Higher Education (THE). In total, 48 Russian universities were included in the ranking, which became a record for the Russian higher education, TASS reports.

MIPT took the 71st place of the rating, MSU became 95th. Out of the 48 Russian universitiesin the THE ranking, seven universities were included for the first time.

15 Russian universities are represented in the Life Sciences category, with the best indicator belonging to MSU, which made its way to top 150. The university has similar results in medicine, rising more than 100 positions compared to the previous year.

In total, the study included over 1,500 universities from almost 100 countries.
