The Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU) from Vladivostok and the Vietnamese University of Da Nang agreed on student exchange and other areas of cooperation, the Pacific Russia website reports.

The documents were signed at a meeting between FEFU Vice-Rector for International Relations Victoria Panova and Da Nang University Vice-Rector Le Quan Son. The parties plan to develop academic mobility programs and organize student exchanges. The heads of universities are also interested in creating joint educational and scientific projects.

Double degree programs in a number of areas, including the study and teaching of Russian as a foreign language, digital linguistics, and international relations were also discussed during the meeting.

Consul General of Russia in Da Nang Andrei Plum praised the work of the Russian language faculty at the Vietnamese university and noted the growing interest of students in the Russian language and Russian culture.
