The final stage of the Unifight & Bastion summer tournaments series was held in September at Slavyansky Khutor, not far from Toronto. According to the organizers, the tournaments are aimed at introducing young Russian compatriots to Russian sports and learning how to survive in extreme conditions, according to the press service of organizations of Russian compatriots in Canada.

The competitions were held in the open air. Children of different ages, with the support of their parents, showed their orienteering skills in the forest and built huts from branches.

Now the project has turned into a mass movement, and champions from the republics of the former Soviet Union are participating in the preparation of the stages. If two years ago there were only children's competitions, now their scale has grown, and the main tournament is being held under the auspices of an international federation.
