The Russian House in Valletta (the capital of Malta) has begun creating a documentary with the working title "Russian Exiles in Malta", which will tell about the fate of representatives of the Russian creative intelligentsia who found shelter in Malta and were buried on the island, according to the YouTube channel of the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Malta.

The film tells about the life and work of Princess Natalie Putyatina, sculptor Boris Edwards and historian Konstantin Voensky de Brese.

The beginning of filming was preceded by a large archival work. Russian emigrants have made a significant contribution to the culture of Malta. For example, Natalie Putyatina opened the first ballet academy on the island.

Filming is planned at the Museum of Fine Arts of Malta, the National Library and the cities of the island, which welcomed the first wave of Russian emigrants. The work should be completed in October, the first screening is scheduled for the anniversary of the Russian exodus.
