All-German conference of Russian compatriots took place in Berlin

Representatives of organizations of Russian compatriots from different cities and regions of Germany met in Berlin at the 15th all-German conference. Russian and German diplomats and politicians, as well as other guests joined the meeting, the Russkoe Pole newspaper reports.

The Ambassador of Russia to Germany Sergey Nechaev and the head of the Rossotrudnichestvo office in Germany Pavel Izvolsky opened the conference. The authors of the most successful public projects were awarded.

The reports were prepared by German diplomats and politicians: the representative of the German Foreign Ministry Tobias Tunkel, the head of the German-Russian parliamentary group in the Bundestag Robbie Schlund, members of various parties of the German parliament. Some of the addresses were delivered in Russian and German.

Within the framework of the conference, a report was made by the head of the Coordinating Council of Organizations of Russian Compatriots of Germany Larisa Yurchenko. Representatives of organizations of Russian compatriots in Hamburg, Bavaria, Munster and other cities, Russian language teachers, journalists, Russian-speaking journalists took part in the conference.
