The Russian Foreign Ministry called an article on the effectiveness of the Russian Sputnik V vaccine a well-deserved recognition of the work of Russian scientists and physicians, according to the department's Facebook page. The article was publsihed in the Nature journal at the beginning of the month.

It is gratifying that the real scientists highly appreciated the drug, the Foreign Ministry noted. It is especially gratifying that no political motives are involved in this judgement.

The article collected the opinions of many leading virologists, supplementing them with the results of studies that took place in different countries, including experts from San Marino and Italy.
