Pushkin readings held in Ireland

The Pushkin Readings took place in Ireland. They were organized by the Russian Ireland cultural association, according to the Moscow House of Compatriot.

The aim of the project was to acquaint the Irish audience with Russian literature. Pushkin's poems were read by Russian compatriots, the Irish supported them with their performances. In addition, videos with the reading of Pushkin's lines were sent from Belarus, France, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan.

The videos were posted on Facebook.

Last year, Russian Ireland dedicated a similar project to Sergei Yesenin. The association said that they intend to continue to acquaint the Irish with Russian culture.
