Russian diplomats rejected Bloomberg's claims that ''Russian government hackers'' had allegedly hacked the website of the National Committee of the Republican Party. The Russian Embassy in the United States indicated that the party itself denied the very fact of the cyberattack, RIA Novosti reports. The diplomats stressed that such statements remain ungrounded.

The diplomatic mission advised journalists not to forget about professional ethics and refrain from sweeping accusations.

In addition, representatives of the Foreign Ministry recalled that at a meeting in Geneva, Russian and American Presidents Vladimir Putin and Joe Biden agreed to resume a dialogue on cybersecurity.

There is no doubt that issues related to cyber security should be discussed at a professional level, diplomats are convinced. This will make it possible to improve the level of security of the information infrastructure of both countries.

Previously, Bloomberg journalists claimed that hackers, who allegedly had connections with Russian state structures, hacked into the National Committee of the US Republican Party. The Party itself denied these reports.
