Schoolchildren from 24 countries reached finals of International Russian Language Festival

150 schoolchildren made it to the finals of the International Festival of the Russian Language, according to the website of the mayor of Moscow. Representatives of 24 countries will fight for the victory. 

The seven nominations, which are evaluated by the jury, included theatrical art, arts and crafts, choreography and vocals, as well as cinematic and reading categories. The organizers also chose the best experts in the Russian language, culture and history of Russia.
 
The contestants created literary works about historical peculiarities and traditions of the peoples of Russia, sent video recordings with the staging of a miniature or an excerpt in Russian, performed the dances of one of the peoples of Russia. The competition was held online. The final will start on September 1.

According to the results of the competition, not only schoolchildren, but also their teachers will be awarded.

The festival is held by the Moscow Center for the Quality of Education.
