About 80% of the employees of Russian embassies around the world took part in the Coronavirus vaccination. The Sputnik V and EpiVacCorona vaccines have been delivered to the diplomatic missions of Russia in 82 countries, RIA Novosti reports.

The Russian Foreign Ministry announced that first batch of vaccines were sent to Russian embassies in March. The vast majority of employees of Russian diplomatic missions were vaccinated.

The delivery of jabs took place at a time when Russia closed air traffic with many states to prevent the spread of coronavirus. The Foreign Ministry used the minister's plane to deliver the vaccines to its employees.
