International festival in Finland dedicated to Russian rock poets

The works of famous Russian rock poets will be performed by the participants of the International Multimedia Festival of Poems and Video Poetry, which will be organized by the Art-Master Theater from the Finnish city of Jyväskylä. The festival will take place in September, the organizers have opened the acceptance of videos , according to the website of the Association of Figures of Russian Theaters Abroad.

The festival will be held in full-time and online formats.The peculiarity of the festival, created 9 years ago in Petrozavodsk, is that spectators and Internet users vote for the winners.

The head of the Art-Master theater Kira Mirutenko announced that the theme of the new international festival will be rock poetry. She published a list of famous rock poets of the late 20th century and today, whose poems and songs will be performed during the festival. The list includes both the masters of Russian rock (Viktor Tsoi, Boris Grebenshchikov, Yuri Shevchuk) and modern popilar Russian performers.
