Russian schoolgirls become absolute winners of European Girls' Mathematical Olympiad

Russian schoolgirls became the absolute winners of the European Girls' Mathematical Olympiad, which took place in Kutaisi and brought together participants from 54 countries. The Russian national team includes students from Kazan and St. Petersburg, according to the "Russian Education"  website.

Young Russian women, representing the country in Georgia, overcame a multi-stage selection. The team included Ralina Yusupova and Rosalina Mirgalimova from Kazan, as well as St. Petersburg schoolgirls Taisia ​​Korotchenko and Anna Pyatkova. According to the regulations, teams must include four participants.

The girls from Kazan became the absolute winners, they scored the maximum number of points.

The competition was attended by teams from 37 European countries and 17 states from other continents. The Olympiad for Girls was first held nine years ago, since then it has been held annually in different European countries. Russia has joined the Olympiad for the sixth time.
