Exhibition of Soviet children's books presented in Pisa

On March 19, the Russian Center of the University of Pisa, together with the Museum of Graphics of Pisa, organized a presentation of the "Vanguard for Children" book exhibition , which is taking place these days in Milan at the Bridense National Library.

James Bradburn, director of the Pinakothek Brera and the Bridense library, the curator of the exhibition Federica Rossi and the head of the Russian Center, prof. Stefano Gardzonio.

During the event, the public was presented with covers and illustrations of Soviet books in Russian and Ukrainian, as well as in Yiddish. The works of outstanding Russian avant-garde artists of the 1920s and a wide variety of published editions of Soviet children's literature attracted the interest of the visitors.
