More than 140 projects will be presented at the European film market, which takes place within the framework of the International Berlin Film Festival, by 39 Russian producers and distributors. Russian films, TV series and animated films are presented online, TASS reports.

Russia has prepared a record number of projects for the film market, 25 of them will be presented for the first time at the Berlinale. According to the head of Roskino, Evgenia Markova, this suggests that Russian manufacturers continued their active work and development during the coronavirus pandemic.

The competition program of the festival includes a short animated film by Russian director Sasha Svirsky "Vadim on a Walk". And the Russian film "The Fisherman's Daughter" by Yuldus Bakhtiozina will be seen by viewers of the Forum program.

Eleven Russian projects will be presented at an international session dedicated to TV-series.

The festival will take place from 1 to 5 March. Among the Russian projects, the film market will present both new feature films, cartoons and TV series, as well as recognized Russian film and TV viewers.
