An expanded meeting of the Coordination Council of Russian Compatriots (KSORS) of Sweden was devoted to the exchange of experience during the pandemic and discussion of plans for the near future. The meeting took place in the format of a video conference, according to the website of the Union of Russian Societies in Sweden.

The remote session was held on the eve of the International Mother Language Day, which suggested one of the main topics of the meeting. The participants spoke about their work during the pandemic, which will help compatriots' organizations move in one direction.

The participants shared stories about how they quickly established remote communication, trained their members to conduct broadcasts, organized translation to involve not only Russian-speaking residents, but also Swedes in events. The videoconference participants discussed the organization of broadcasts, the choice of interesting content, and remote work with children.

Those gathered at the online meeting expressed their hope that Victory Day will be celebrated in person, and that it will also be possible to hold Russian and Belarusian fairs in their usual form, which are very much expected in Sweden. The participants also shared their plans for the near future. Compatriots talked about lectures and training sessions dedicated to the Russian language and Russian culture.
