The metro of the Russian capital has been awarded the green sign of the World Travel and Tourism Council, the Pobeda RF website reports. Thus, its anti-epidemic safety is confirmed.

As explained by the Moscow administration, the sign indicates that the metro fully meets all sanitary requirements and strictly follows the safety standards of the World Health Organization (WHO). All necessary measures are being implemented in the metro, including social distance, mask mode, disinfection, others.

Green stickers of the World Tourism and Travel Council will appear on the metropolitan subway and will be placed at the central metro stations.
