There is a Russian-style cafe in Bangkok called "Belka", opened by a graduate of Moscow University. Visitors are surrounded by Russian traditional and original nesting dolls, books about Russian art, busts of Russian emperors, souvenirs and much more. In the cafe, guests can taste Russian pastries to the accompaniment of Tchaikovsky's music, according to Travel News about Thailand.

The cafe in the capital of Thailand was opened by a local resident Ranista Chartisatian, a graduate of one of the Moscow universities. Previously, she traveled with Thai tourists to Russia and the former republics of the USSR as a guide. But the pandemic has hit the tourism industry hard.

According to Ranista, she opened a Russian-style café to showcase the diversity of Russian culture and Russia's friendliness. In addition, Belka stands out because there are no other similar establishments in Bangkok. Local residents and mixed families, in which one of the spouses is Russian, come to the cafe. Ranista considers Russia and Thailand to be close countries.

The cuisine is also tailored to the preferences of the locals. The most popular dishes were baked goods and confectionery - cakes "Medovik", "Napoleon" and "Eskimo", as well as meringue "Strawberry Pavlova".
