The archive on the history of the Russian army and the White movement from the USA and Brazil has been added to the collection of the Penza Museum of the Russian Army. The transfer of documents, manuscripts and periodicals of the early and mid-20th century took place with the support of the Russian Military Historical Society (RVIO), the website of the society reports.

Several suitcases with valuable documents and exhibits were delivered to the Penza Museum from the USA. Museum representatives intend to exhibit part of the archive as part of the exhibition dedicated to the anniversary of the Russian Exodus and the end of the Civil War.

In Penza, there were documents and rarities reflecting the history and traditions of Russian military personnel, sailors, Cossacks and veterans. The archive includes photographs taken at the beginning and middle of the last century, military newspapers and magazines, letters and manuscripts created by white emigrants forced to leave their homeland.

Letters from the participants in the 1920 evacuation from the Crimea, military uniforms, medals, documents on graduation from military schools and other exhibits will now be stored in Penza.
