Compatriots abroad celebrated Tatiana's Day

Russian Students Day was celebrated by Russian compatriots in different countries. In Armenia, by tradition, a celebration was organized, prepared by the Rossotrudnichestvo office with the assistance of the House of Moscow and the branch of the Lomonosov Moscow State University. 

The guests were greeted by students in Russian folk costumes. They treated everyone to mead prepared according to the recipes of the oldest Russian university. The awarding ceremony for the best student of the year was timed to coincide with the holiday.

In Brussels, Tatiana's Day was celebrated online. There was a virtual apartment building of Evgeny Margulis, a famous Russian musician.

In Tajikistan, the holiday was celebrated with the "We are united by friendship"media forum. Russian Ambassador Igor Lyakin-Frolov congratulated all students of higher educational institutions on Student Day. According to him, despite the coronavirus pandemic, which affected all countries and continents and had an impact on the educational process, Tajikistan was one of the first to achieve serious success in the fight against COVID-19. The head of the Russian diplomatic mission wished the students good health, good grades, useful knowledge and the implementation of their plans.
