The Bridge Across the Ocean Festival brought together twin cities: Russian Yaroslavl and American Burlington. It has become an annual tradition and has taken its place in the calendar of the city's cultural life on the Volga. This year the festival celebrates its anniversary, it is being held for the 10th time, the official website of Yaroslavl reports.

According to the mayor of the city, Vladimir Volkov, sister-city ties have long been tested for strength. Cities in Russia and the USA became twin cities more than 30 years ago.

The forum is organized by the Russian-American Association friendship society with the participation of the Yaroslavl administration, the American embassy and the US Cultural Initiatives Fund.

Due to the unfavorable epidemiological situation, the festival is held online.

The festival program will be continued by the scientific and practical conference "Society in the conditions of social disunity: new practices in creating sustainable development of the urban environment (new practices in education, business, communications and consumption)".

A meeting of the discussion club is also planned. Russian and American students will gather online.

The program will end with a concert of Yaroslavl creative groups.
