On the New Year's Eve, the British publishing house Glagoslav Publications published an English translation of Vyacheslav Nikonov's book "The Code of Civilization".

The monograph of the famous politician and historian, head of the State Duma Committee on Education and Science, chairman of the board of the Russkiy Mir Foundation Vyacheslav Nikonov is devoted to comprehending the main trends of world development through the interaction of civilizations, the press service of the committee reported. The author explores them, organically combining political, social, geographic, economic and cultural factors in his analysis.

Nikonov offers his assessments and forecasts regarding the role and place of civilizations within the framework of the emerging multipolar world.

Commenting on the release of the book, Nikonov said that this is ''interesting news for everyone who prefers to get information in English. The book is good for thinking people.''

However, the author is ready in advance for a critical perception of his work abroad. “I'm waiting for another portion of dirt - from a purely English-speaking audience. I'm even curious, what will I be accused of this time? " Nikonov remarked ironically.

''The Code of Civilization'' is available on the Glagoslav Publications website.
