Compatriots in Cuba discussed promotion of Russian language

The participants of the country conference of the Association of Compatriots Living in Cuba discussed the work of the young compatriots, support for the study of the Russian language in the regions of the country, the website of the Moscow Compatriot House reports.

As part of the meeting, which took place at the Museum of the Revolution of Cuba, it was decided to organize a separate youth branch, which will help to intensify work with young compatriots. Cuban Russian language specialists also took part in the conference.

Representatives of regional organizations of compatriots summed up the results of the outgoing year, and also spoke about plans for the next year. The cultural part of the meeting continued with performances by Cuban artists, who presented songs in Russian, and treats of Russian and Cuban cuisine.
