The famous American director Oliver Stone was vaccinated against the coronavirus with a Russian drug, the RT channel reports.

According to the director, he received the Sputnik V vaccine a few days ago. He noted that he had heard more than once how experts highly evaluated the Russian drug.

It is not clear, says Stone, for what reason Western authorities are trying to ignore the Russian vaccine. He called the United States insane because Washington viewed Moscow and Beijing as enemies. These three countries could be excellent partners, the director is convinced. “We could build the future together - the problem is that not everyone understands this,” said Stone.

The effectiveness of the Sputnik V vaccine is over 91 percent. At the final test point, it was 91.4 percent. This indicator was determined on the basis of data analysis after 21 days from the moment the volunteers received the first component of the drug. The number of volunteers who received both shots of the vaccine or placebo was more than 22,700.
