Siberian Medical University and Netherlands University open winter scientific school

Siberian Medical University (SSMU) and the Medical Center of the University of Leiden from the Netherlands open an international winter scientific school on December 10. Until December 12, online lectures and virtual meetings with experts from leading medical universities in Russia, the Netherlands and Canada will be held, the Scientific Russia website reports.

During the lectures and meetings, various issues of medicine of the future and technologies, which are based on the discoveries of scientists in various medical fields, will be discussed. The program included interactive activities, communication with experts, seminars on various topics.

The work of the school will be organized in Russian and English. The project is designed for students of Russian and foreign universities, one can apply for participation on the official website of the school.

Rector of Siberian State Medical University Evgeny Kulikov noted that during a pandemic, the university is taking new steps to develop international cooperation. According to him, the winter school will present the latest technologies in the medical field, which will be widely used in healthcare in the near future.
