Young Russian compatriots living in Spain are invited to take part in a competition for expressive reading aloud. The competition called "To Remember ..." is timed to coincide with the date of the start of the Soviet counteroffensive near Moscow, which took place on December 5, 1941. The organizers of the tournament are the Union of Organizations of Russian Compatriots (UORC) of Spain and Andorra, the Youth Council of the UORC of Spain and Andorra, the ESSR Association and TRANSVERSAL.

The competition is being held online and is scheduled for December 7.

According to the organizers, they wanted the younger generation to develop a sense of patriotism. In addition, the competition will help support talented children and identify new names. It is aimed at preserving national spiritual traditions, continuity and communication between generations.

The competition consists of three rounds. The participants will have to read poetry, excerpts from prose works, and articles . Those who get the most points will go to the final, where the winners will be determined.
