The participation of foreign students from Moscow universities in the competition expanded the diversity of ethnic languages presented in the competition at the expense of several African languages.

The most active participants were Belarus and Kazakhstan.  Many works came from the Moscow region, Tatarstan, Dagestan, Sverdlovsk and Tomsk regions.

Compatriots, who sent their works from more than 20 countries, also actively joined the struggle for victory.

Another goal of the competition is to support the interest of schoolchildren in learning the Russian language, to increase motivation. During the competition, special attention is paid to the theme of Russia's civilizational heritage in the world.
