The Compatriot Russian club organized a special evening in Bulgaria. On Christian Family Day, which is a national holiday in the country, Russian compatriots and their Bulgarian friends celebrated the Day of National Unity. Earlier, the celebration was canceled due to an unfavorable epidemiological situation, the Vsemirnaya Rossiya website reports.

Volodya Borisov, Deputy Chairman of the Russophiles National Movement in the Yambol Region, spoke to the participants of the evening, who noted the close and friendly relations that had developed between the Russian and Bulgarian peoples.

Russian compatriots from several cities in Bulgaria took part in the festive evening. They sang Russian songs, competed in the knowledge of riddles and proverbs about the family, and took part in a historical quiz, the questions of which were dedicated to the Day of National Unity.

The participants in the evening agreed that in difficult times, the consolidation of compatriots is necessary, which will help to cope with all the hardships.
