Leading actress demanded for first feature filmed in space

The winner of the competition announced by the Russian TV Channel One and the Roscosmos state corporation will play the main role in the first feature film shot in space. In addition to acting talent, applicants must be in good health and excellent physical shape, know foreign languages and have a higher education, according to the website of Channel One.

Pushkin's verses will help to present the role of a dream. Under the terms of the casting, applicants must send the organizers a recording with them reading Tatyana's letter from the Eugene Onegin. The organizing committee is awaiting applications from women aged 25 to 45 years, 150-180 centimeters tall. 

The conditions also stipulate body weight, foot length, other parameters and standards. At the first stage, up to 30 participants will be selected, after which they will undergo in-depth examinations and testing, including the participation of the flight commission. Two participants of the competition will go into space - the performer of the main role and her stunt double.

The filming of a feature, tentatively titled The Challenge, is scheduled to begin next October at the International Space Station. According to the general director of Channel One Konstantin Ernst, the head of Roscosmos Dmitry Rogozin proposed to shoot a film in space.
