The leaders of the world rhythmic gymnastics, the Averin sisters from Russia, won all the highest awards at the international tournament, which was held online. Gymnasts from nine countries took part in the competition, TASS reports.

Dina Averina became the first in the all-around, as well as in exercises with a ball and clubs. Her sister Arina showed the best results in exercises with a hoop and ribbon. The second in the all-around was the Spaniard Alba Bautista, and the bronze went to the Latvian athlete Elizaveta Polstyana.

The Russian team celebrated the victory in the group exercises, beating the runner-up from Uzbekistan by almost four points. The tournament regulations did not allow more than one athlete from a country to be in the top three.
