The Russian robot Promobot, developed by the staff of the Promobot company, a resident of the Skolkovo Foundation, has begun work at the children's research center in Bergen. The robot will teach physics, chemistry, biology and robotics to young students in Norwegian and English, RIA Novosti reports.

Promobot is equipped with artificial intelligence, trained on information from textbooks and teaching aids in these disciplines. The Promobot company told about the advantages of the robot teacher. He remembers everything he has learned and is able to concentrate not on one, but on several subjects. At the same time, the creators emphasized, robots will not compete with teachers, but will be able to help them in their work.

The Norwegian center VilVite, in which the robot took over, houses the only centrifuge attraction in Europe. Promobot will be able to use it to tell children about the action of centrifugal force and the law of conservation of energy.

The robots produced by the Perm company Promobot work as administrators, consultants, guides and perform other work in Russia and many other countries. Over the five years of its existence, the Russian company has become one of the European leaders in the production of autonomous service robots. Previously, such a robot began working as an employee of the airport in Istanbul, and also went out to patrol the streets of Abu Dhabi as a police officer.
