The Brussels Dialogue International Youth Forum started on Friday, October 9. It is being held in the capital of Belgium, the website of the World Coordination Council of Russian Compatriots reports. The organizers are the representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo, the Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Foundation, MGIMO and the World Alumni Association.

The focus of the forum will be on the issues of preserving the historical heritage, as well as the role of international cooperation within the UN and the Council of Europe. In addition, the forum will discuss what the younger generation can do for this.

According to the organizers, the conversation will focus on how to preserve historical memory and prevent the falsification of history in order to create a common future. Discussions will be held in the format of videoconference, and next month a concert will take place on the stage of the Rossotrudnichestvo office.

The main task of the forum is to strengthen and develop dialogue between Russian youth and young people from European countries.
